Joaquín Cortés:


Joaquín Cortés was born in Córdoba in 1969. He moved to Madrid in 1997 and it New York in 1999. He studied dance when he was tweleve yerads old. After that when he was 15, he studied in the Spanish National Ballet.


He has 3 shows. The pasión Gitana and Sould, and life. He was an explosive, and athletic man.

Selena Gomez:

Selena Gomez is only 19 years old, but she has been in lots of filsms, and TV shows. You might know her from the series Wizards of Waverly Place, or her two most recent films, Ramona and Beezus and Monte Carlo.

 Early in her career, Selena played small roles. She started acting at age seven and was discoveret by the Disney Channel in 2004, when whe was 12 years old. She had a role in Hannah Montana, and journalists called her teh next Miley Cyrus.

Love is Always an importan subject when Selena gives interviews! At the moemnt she is dating Justin Biber. Fans have asked Selena if she plans to do a duet with Justin. "'im not sure," seh says. "If it happens, it happens". 

Explaining how whe lives with fame, Selena says: years hiding and terrified of things like that. Now whe says: I'm enjoying being yound and having fun, focusing on my fans and music.

Now Selena Gomez has a fantastic lifestyle and ears lots of money. But life wasn't always easy. When Selena was bort her mother was only 16 yerads old and Selena grew up as an only child. They had vert llittle money.

Although Selena is famous for acting, she is a talented musican too. She sings on the soundtracks of her films, and formed the group Selena Gomez and the Scene in 2009. Their single "Who Says" was a big hit in 2011.

The girl lost!

One morning I went to a shoping center in Barcelona. I was shopping a lot of things when a little girl got lost. She was crying a lot. She was okay, but she was very frightened. I went to a policeman and a secretary and told them about 7. The situation was dangerous, because it was a little girl, and she didn't speak much. She didn't have a mobile phone. When I talked with the secretary she announced it. It was a dangerous situation. Finally, her parents heard the comment and they came to meet her.

Hi my name's Núria and I'm from Catalonia, Spain. I have blue and green eyes and I have really nice blonde hair. I rally like going shopping and chatting on the internet with my friends. I dislike plaing football land computer games.
I spend a lot of my time on homework and TV, and I spend some money on make-up and clothes.
I want to meet both girls and boys, when I'm 14 years old, because I like meeting new friends, and maybe a boyfriend..
I'm interesed in meeting a lot of in boys from Africa, because I like the culture of this nationality. I'm interested in learning Japanese, because I really like this language, I really fun.

Festa Major:

This year Festa Major was really great! On friday I went to funfairs with my friends, but I returned home very early this day. On Saturday I went to the funfair and I went a lot of rides, this day I returned home late, because I went to "Barrakes". On Sunday I went to Plaça Major with my grandparents and then I went to Barrakes, I returned home at 1 o'clock. Monday the last day I went for a short time to the funfairs and I returned home, because it was raining. It was the end of my wonderful Festa Major!

My ideal home:

My ideal home is own style. It's a modern and small house. It's quite small, but it's ok. My house is in the center of the town. The house has got 4 rooms, a bedroom, kitchen, a bathroom and other rooms. This room is very special because I have my clothes and my shoes, and I like it a lot, It's my favourite room! I live only with a friend because we stay there to study. Now she isin't here. She is in the shopping center. This house is welcoming and riendly. It is a really beautiful house, I like it  here!:)

Hi, my name is Núria and I'm from Catalonia, in Spain. I'm 13 yeards old. I'm a student at Casa Nostra School. I've got un pet her name is Pruna. And my favorite group is la Oreja de Van Gogh. I have a really nice blue and green eyes, and I have a long blonde hair. I practise dance, 2 days of the week, i like it a lot! I'm interest to meet girls and boys to 13-16 yeards old.

Hi my name's Núria and today I'm talking about my last holiday.

First- I'm talking about Cantoni

Second- I'm talking about England(Poole)

Finally- I'm talking about Costa Azul

First I went to Cantoni with my school friends. I had a very good time and I spent some lovely days there.

Second I went to England (Poole). The family consisted of a mother, a daughter and fourt pets, two cats, a dog and a rabbit. In the morning I went to English classes and in the afternoon we visited places and had different activities. I loved it there and it was a great experience.

Finally, I traveled to the Costa Azul, I visited Nice, St Tropez, Monaco...I went there with my paretns and I enjoyed it a lot. It was the end of my wonderful holiday. 

I spend the best holiday of my live!:)

Maria Sharapova full name is maria Yuryevna Sharapova. She was born on 19th April 1987 in Nyagan, Russia. She's 1 metre 88 centimetres tall. She's slim. 

Maria first played tenis when she was 4 years old, and se became a professional when he was only 12 years old. Maria Sharapova won his first big tophy with Wimbledon championship 2004.

She's a good player.

7.London

London is a city in the south of England. People first lived in London about 800 years ago. Its name was Londinium in  Roman times. The population was 45.000 in Roman times but now it's about  7,5 million.

There are places in London with names of important people history:

Victoria Street (Queen Victoria).

The people of London are called Londoners. Famous Londomers include Charlie Chaplin was an actor. 

It's a very beautiful city.

9.Write a blog about an expedition

Writing: Unit 9

Day 1: I'm going to go on an expedition next Friday. We're going to stay in New York. I must take my satellite phone, so I'll speak to my family every day.

Day 2: Here I am in the hotel. It's hot and sunny, but ervery night it's cool here. I'm visiting the Central Park by horse for 1 hour and I'm talking photos, and later I'm going to the shopping center..

Day 3: My fauvorite activites are going to the shopping centers because I really like shopping. Tomorow I'm going to visit the museums and I'm going to take a lot of photos... I must take the caera and a ruckbag.

Sant Martirià

Every year there's a big celebration in Banyoles. It's called Sant Martirià. The celebration is in October and it's a celebration of the atumn.
On the day of the celebration I meet my friends in the evening.
People is cancing or meet the family.
Usually the children go to de rides in the funfais. I love it

In my class there are 32 students from four different countries. There are people from: Catalonia, Morocco, India and Russia.
At school we have Catalan classes three times a week. Spanish and Engilsh are also subjects here. People in this class speak Catalan.
My level of Engish is OK. I want to improve my English and study more.

Christmas

Every year there's a big celebration, it's called Christmas. Christmas is on 25 th of December and it's a celebration of the winter. On Christmas, I go to the shops with my family and we buy presents for this celebration. I also ho to my grandparents house and there, I have lunch with all the family, it's very funny! Every year  I decorate my house with a Christmas tree, for example.

For Christmas, I like the decoration and the presents, but I don't like the load of people in the shops.

But I like Christmas a lot, because it's a way to stay with family.

WRITING BANYOLES

Banyoles Banyoles is a town in the north of Catalonia. It's got a populations of about 20.000, and there is a lot of tourism here.

I like Banyoles because thre is a beuriful lake and some shops. My faouvorite places are the Club and the "Plaça Major". Banyoles is 30 kilometres from Girona. In Banyoles there are buses, the "Tren Pinxo" and coaches too. It is a beautiful and friendly city. I like Banyoles!
